Ben Horne said that Richard never had a father. If Mr C had raped Audrey while she was comotose, she would have thought Wheeler was the father. I am not sure Wheeler would have returned to Twin Peaks to take on responsibility. He was married to his business career.

So...Richard never had a father because Wheeler was far away. Or he  is Johnny's, and that is why the Hornes took care of him. Johnny clearly could not act as a father. Why is so tied up now?

Maybe Audrey doesn't remember any of it .. her life before the explosion.. and did she have sex with wheeler?? I don't remember that ..

I think that it's a safe bet that Audrey is Richard's mother, and that Mr. C is Richard's father. Of course, we'll see how it plays out in the next six episodes, but nothing in episode 12 made me waver from those assumptions.

Only 6 more episodes for DL to tie these threads together. Unless of course some remain unresolved until season 4…

Unless the eps suddenly pick up the pace, I can't see how everything gets resolved. Hoping for the best but I think there will still be a lot of unanswered questions.

Didn't expect to see Audrey's return to be like that. But I didn't expect Cooper to come back in a near catatonic state either.  Just ride with it I guess.

Trying my best but I have to say it gets frustrating at times which I'm sure Lynch loves

Filler episode??  I suppose I'm a bit puzzled at some people's expectations & disappointment in characters...

Am I the only one totally underwhelmed by the return of Audrey?  We've been anxiously awaiting her return for 12 episodes, and that's what we got?

I love the show, but I'm starting to get frustrated with all of these filler episodes where nothing really happens.  Did we really need to spend like 3 minutes on Gordon Cole's date leaving the room?  I feel like this entire season could have easily been compressed into 12 or so episodes, and been much better.

(Please don't attack me with "You just don't appreciate Lynch".  I'm just expressing an opinion, and I really don't think this is Lynch at his finest.)

Amen.

Everything is WAY longer than needed.

The season is what, 16 episodes? Unless there's some super intense closing of the season, I think this season could be condensed into 12-13 episodes.

She gave him her virginity on his private jet.

I don't foresee a season 4.

I'll try to answer your question.

What exactly happened that episode? Like what would you NOT want to share with someone who didn't see it yet and was afraid of spoilers?

I got

1. Sarah is nuts, maybe possessed.

2. Audrey is looking for her son. Is married to some weird midget guy.

3. Diane is talking to Mr C still, gordon knows about it (which we already knew)

That's it. This season has had a ton of drawn out filler.

Right - and that's what you thought of it.  That's up to you.
I didn't think it was a 'filler'  episode - and I really don't 'get' why some folk have built up scenarios & are disappointed when they don't appear on the screen.  That was my comment.
I'm not sure why I'm supposed to explain that to anybody...?

If you didn't like it, you didn't like it.

My bad, you're right.
