It just struck me that Mr. C. and his gang have a place called "the farm" and this woman was visiting a friend of her mother who owns a farm and whose daughter is missing. The farm...has me thinking.

While explaining the Blue Rose team, didn't Cole say that the military was in on it too? Maybe the military sent the "French" girl with codes??

What perplexed me most was that she seemed absolutely dead tired/asleep when Cole was recounting his story before Albert walked in. Maybe that was supposed to be some message to Albert??

Maybe Albert didn't understand the message and that's why Cole said he sometimes worries about Albert?

Maybe maybe maybe maybe!!

Anyway, the probability of there being an attractive single French lady seeking an old man suitor in Buckhorn is incredibly low (hope I'm not offending anyone here)... Methinks the only other explanation is if it's Cole's girlfriend and he flew her in--same girlfriend he was with when Albert first went to get Diane.

OR, maybe being with her in general is code for Cole. He did say the exact same line: "finish this fine Bordeaux" as when on the phone with Albert during the first Diane scene.

I believe it was Merlot in the other scene.

Evening fellas!

Would it be that the dress indicates DoppelCoop involvement in drug trade?

And maybe, her fixing the dress is that something must be fixed? For example for her leaving, she needed to put on her shoes. She wasn't wearing them, until someone asked the door. Once she put her shoes, she could leave. Black and red shoes btw. Clear reference to Coop losing his shoes when he came back to the real world and THAat is the something to be fixed?

Her face MUST mean something. She speaks very little and her expression is an exageration. She was not frowning. Actually the opposite. Things could seem to be fine but something is not? Maybe? If so, how and who gives this kind of intel? Even though I wish this could be it. It is more likely to be related to more normal issues of the FBI.

And what about "I need to get back to that Bordeaux. -What kind is it?. -11:05". He seems to say "time" but I heard it and i am sure he says "kind". I believe he is affraid that Albert goes missing since he is the only agent in the blue rose.

And the long stare that they seemed to perfectly understand each other.

Fellas, what is misssing in the sentence :  “She’s here visiting a friend of her mother whose daughter has gone missing. The mother owns a turnip farm. I told her to tell the mother that her daughter will turn up eventually.”

Maybe Laura is the daughter that will return!

Yes, maybe! Cole saw Laura in a vision, in an earlier scene. And in the vision you hear her mother Sarah Palmer calling out "Laura" as if looking for her, like you do when someone is missing. So both a mother and a missing daughter were in his vision.

Here's my offering to the dinner table: The thread in the back of the French Girl's dress is a different color red than the dress.

Lil's dress had a different color thread where "it was altered to fit her." Albert already knows the coordinates point to Twin Peaks, he almost said so before getting interrupted by Mackley and Preston.

This girl's visiting her mother's friend whose daughter's missing. Lil was "my mother's sister's girl."

Over 6,000 languages are spoken in the world.

"J'ai une ame solitaire."

It has to do with Special Agent Dale Cooper.

With Lil, in that sentence the missing word was "uncle".

In the French lady's example I feel the missing word would be "son".

"friend" is very vague. Could be a friend, could be a boyfriend. Don't see how you get SON from that. The story did seem to be a set-up for the pun.

"for her leaving, she needed to put on her shoes. She wasn't wearing them, until someone asked the door."

People take off high heels to get comfortable & give their feet a rest.

The link was a stretch 🙂

I figured my mother's sister's girl."

Uncle is missing as confirmed in FWWM. It's an opposite of mother's sister.

I figure mother's daughter - opposite of this is son.

I know a stretch 🙂

I noticed on a rewatch that nearly all of her exaggerated actions involve the color red.

She lifts up her heels so you can see the red underneath her "tres chic" shoes.

She pulls out a mirror so she can apply her red lipstick.

She stops to take a sip of her red wine.

She stands up and spends time adjusting her red dress.

So much red!

Turnips are great.  Diced with carrots, cooked in stews.  Nom!

I loves me some turnips.

Is this euphemism for your attraction to the woman? 🙂

Nah.  She was ok but not all that appealing to me.  Now, if she'd been wearing this...

Indeed.  Me feet are murder after an hour in those things.  Still, it's worth it for the sake of elegance.
