Here is my far fetched theory of the hour. I just can't believe that Audrey is going turn out to be Richard's mother. It also seems highly improbable that Johnny could conceive a child.
What about Donna Hayward?
Last we saw Donna at the end of Season 2 - she learned that Ben Horne was her father. Could she have given up the baby and left him with the Horne's to raise?
As has been speculated previously, but I don't think this is getting much traction around here. DL seems to be pretty much done with Donna.
I think it's unlikely. The last we saw of The Haywards and Ben Horne was gentle old Doc Hayward in a fit of rage threatening to kill Ben if he ever came near his family again. I think the Horne's would be the last people that Doc Hayward would want to have his daughter's child left with.
