The atomic bomb created a portal to the Black Lodge which slices through Earth, hitting both Dakota and Washington to create two portals, an entrance and an exit.

That's all I got.

All that time you spent trying to figure out everything, and who made the island-ship & why, was a huge waste of time because "it was all a dream" ( they're in heaven & none of it was real ). OH WAIT, that was "Lost."

But it was only a dream in the last series, Jack's dad's ghost confirms "it all happened".

But giant will say to cooper. "Nope. None of it happened. Nothing at all. Not even the bunnies, sorry" 😀

Mike has decided to come out of retirement and has "possessed" Audrey. She's a traveling shoe salesman now. Her next client base is near Las Vegas. Eventually, she's going to have Coop try on his lost shoes. Mike will return to the Red Room and pat himself on the back, as Coop is mostly himself again. Coop heads to Twin Peaks. Arriving at the Great Northern he has now fully returned to the "old" Coop. Audrey later visits him at room 315 to try to get was she was after 25 years ago. Janey E finds them together and, in a jealous rage, shoots them both. Audrey, Grabs the gun and shoots Janey E right before passing out. They all three awake in the same room in the hospital. Janey E and Audrey will recover with no issue and are gradually becoming the best of friends. However, the brain damage that Coop suffers causes him to return to his catatonic-like state.

This is all a prequel to the Theresa Banks case.

Hutch and Chantal fail in their double header in Vegas. Mr. C (for whom Kyle has said to have taken inspiration from Javier Bardem's character Chigurh in No Country for Old Men) goes to Vegas to kill Dougie and Duncan Todd. He visits Todd first and reenacts this scene with Todd playing the boss and Roger the nervous accountant. God Roger seems perfect for that role. More of a fantasy than a theory, but it'd make me laugh for days.

I find myself wondering if Cooper is going to somehow affect previous timelines (perhaps by destroying Bob) and save Laura Palmer from being killed in the first place.

I posted the below in the thread "Dougie Conquers All" before noticing this thread... I encourage moderators to delete the other post, if inclined, as this seems a more appropriate place for it.

I was just dreaming, and an interesting scenario (to me anyhow) came to me.

In Twin Peaks, dark forces have long been brewing, and stormy clouds loom on the horizon. This season we have seen the darkness expand like a mushroom cloud, no longer contained in a story of multiple homicides and eerie occurrences, but rather to the corruption at the core of humanity as a whole.

Into this world is born an innocent in the form of a man. Some called him Dougie, some called him Mr. Jackpots, some called him Cooper... just don't call him late for dinner. He rode into this world on a white horse to save the world from itself, a new messiah. To Twin Peaks he rode, righting all wrongs. He destroyed his dark mirror self with the forces of compassion and love; waking sleeping beauty Audrey from her long slumber; healing the wounds of his son Richard and his victims; compelling the Renault family to only sell consciousness-expanding substances; bringing down the man with Dr. Amp; forcing the frog-moth to emerge from and heal Sarah Palmer, revealing itself to have transformed into a beautiful frog-butterfly.

Dougie comes to settle in Twin Peaks to raise his family Father-Yod-style, marrying Audrey (who he awakens from her long slumber), Laura, Diane and Annie while staying with Janey E and kids Sunny Jim, Richard and Linda to have a happy home in a world of peace and unconditional love that grows to exist from his simple-yet-beatific actions. A new dawn has risen on Twin Peaks, illuminating the world. Humanity is awakened with a damn fine cup of coffee and cherry pie for all.

For the record, I do not think anything like this scenario is going to happen, but in the extremely unlikely case Lynch has pursued something like it, I am all on board. If you're going to end big, end Hollywood big! All is forgiven, love conquers all. You probably could not have much more of a fucked-up, screwball ending than that.

For those of you keeping track at home, this marks the fourth time Twin Peaks: The Return has woken me up in the middle of the night, compelling me to post what has come out of my dreams to this forum. While this show is not good for sleeping, it is very good for dreaming. I have long contended that Eraserhead, being one of the most dreamlike movies ever made (along with Jan Švankmajer's Alice, in my experience), is greatly enjoyable to watch in a drowsy state, at which point one can nod off and dream additional scenes to the movie. We all have deleted scenes within.

Also, as long as I am posting here, I am fairly confident at the moment that Tina in Audrey's coma will be played by Sheryl Lee (Audrey never did like her).

My theory is that Frosts contributions are nominal. Lynch is dominant and gets hung up on visions of scenes that he feels are original and interesting and look very good and play with conventions (and they do) so much so that these are his priority and he backs them into the story ,which is secondary. He does not care about resolution or making sense or the pieces fitting. He sets up loops of non-logic intentionally so it is impossible to figure it out. And he gets a kick out of that.  That's my crazy theory.

Janey-E is host for... Laura. Look at the similar haircuts they have ( I mean Laura 2017 or 15 for that matter) also in this infamous spoiler leak Laura is dressed the same as Janey-E: blue jeans, shirt, pink cardigan.

I really love that theory of mine:) In that case if we get happy ending for Coop, which I hope so, he will not have to leave his new family and in the same time he will be reunited with the true love of his life - Laura Palmer. Laura is the one. Even if he met her after his death... but this is twisted Lynchian world both wonderful and strange. And isn't a true love victory? Stronger than death?

My most outlandish one is simply that the events of FWWM (namely Bob "breaking the thread") are what set in motion in the events of 1956.  Time isn't moving in the linear fashion (always forward) that we perceive as the lodge entities are experiencing it differently.  Thus, effect becomes cause or something like that.  It's tough to totally formulate and admittedly I haven't done so, but I think what Bob did in the 90s set in motion what happened in 1945 (and then again in 1956), rather than those events setting into motion what happened in the 1990s.  Sometimes I forget where I am and start yelling at street signs.

My pet wrong theory is that "double header" should be taken literally, and the series ends with Cooper having one body and two heads.

I feel like the owl that flies overhead of Dougie and the chauffeur right before we first hear Janey-E's voice in Episode 4 must mean something...

I mean, eventually, some owl MUST mean something, darndiddlydarnit!

I suppose I would rather it be that Janey-E is Annie's host (or vice versa). But what the hell difference does my preference make?

Cooper will have to kill Richard and Linda. As in "kill two birds with one stone".
