But im more interested in the slowing of time.  It seems like that has happened elsewhere in this season - maybe there is a connection....or maybe my Xbox 360 just sucks.

I was gonna dismiss this as just Cole's fanciness for fine women, because the hints seem too subtle even for a hardcore viewer... But! Albert gives a really odd "what did I just see?"-look just before the glitchy wine sipping scene, as if he'd just witnessed something paranormal. And what I've learned so far Albert has a keen eye for paranormal stuff.

Maybe you're on to something!

E: Could the French girl be a vole sent by Diane, as she's probably aware at this point that Albert & Gordon are suspecting something of her.

  • Boy oh boy has Albert changed. I can't believe he just stood there quietly.
  • Which would make sense if it were a code.

I thought it was related to Dianne with the reference to I will see you in the bar part.  Also the what type question about the Bordeaux going unanswered struck me. The problem with Gordon's code is the deciphering seems very arbitrary.

This scene brought up a few additional thoughts about Lil in FWWM. When Stanley and Desmond were discussing her, they didn't describe everything that was odd about the encounter. The cupie doll make-up, for example.

Why is she named "Lil"? Lil is a palindrome. We now know that Gordon knows more about the lodges than he's been letting on, but he must have known much more even then. I feel like I have to reanalyze damn near everything that we've seen before.
