The thing is... we could be given spoilers, and still not be much the wiser as everything could be something or nothing. Which is why we're all here talking about it!
So what are your guesses for the titles of Parts 17 and 18?
Oh jeeze - I have absolutely no idea. I really don't know where it's all going - which is one of the reasons I think I'm enjoying it so much. I never thought it would be like this.
I suppose the only thing I really don't want to see is part 18 being 'Well suckers, that kept you dangling - it was all a dream' or something.

I think it is related to the few spoiler information there is about TP. It is linked to Jeffreys's lines in "Fire walk with me" and the leak freed by Shelley's actress. Something we assure as "real" has only existed in the mind of a dreamer. But we don't know yet what it is and who (;)) is the dreamer.

What did Madchen Amick leak?
She referred her role in TP3 in a very unclear way, as a character who plays a part inside the series, instead of referring herself simply as "Shelley". That sounded suspicious, as the point of view of the character would change along the series. The leaked TP script page and Jeffries lines in the movie support the "dream theory", that is, some part of TP (to be optimistic) is just somebody's dream (we don't know who, but the leak script page gives you a hint) somehow, the dreamer becomes part of the dream and reality and dream are just the same. I don't know whether this is a real spoiler o a fake one. As a plot it sounds bold and attractive (though not new)
Anyway, I don't care whether this this real or not. I mean, we've been speculating about the season plot for weeks, and now we've just jumped into wondering about the way script finishes TP. Somehow we have a thriller story in our real world, not in TP. I find it exciting.
