I'm working on stitching together as much of Hawk's map as I can (We only saw half of it close-up) so that we can compare it to Owl Cave map. Pieter, it seems I can't post pictures here any longer....don't know why. Hawk's map seems to indicate both Black and White Lodges, Owl Cave, The Falls, an owl in a tree, a row of speaking men, a running red horse, a black handprint, and several other visual signs.

Done by hand, photoshop crashed.....both Black and White Lodges appear, and that horse is hauling ass! I'm particularly fond of the Owl....

Is the Owl Cave in Blue Pine Mountain? That may be the symbol represented on Hawk's map.

That's great!  What's the symbol to the right of the teepee?  I didn't see it on Hawk's map.

Canon has it that Owl Cave is in the Pearl Lakes area. My next step is to compare Hawk's map to the Owl Cave Map-he did say his map was a living thing and changed...things do appear to have moved around

Image to the right of Black Teepee/Black Lodge are three men speaking to, or at ,the black teepee-they appear angry. You can see two of the three faces stacked on top of each other, and just the mouth of the top guy.

The circle are the 12 Sycamores of Glastonbury Grove. White Horse announces Death (vision of Sarah Palmer before Laura dies; Silver Mustang). Corn + black = garmonbozia (compare to Mr. C's vomit in yellow/black/hint of green). On the map in Owl Cave there's also the waterfall, so The Great Northern could also be connected. Hence the current humming in the hotel: undergound tunnel? Ergo: the stars are aligning for 10/2. 'One chance out between two worlds...Fire Walk With Me'.

I double-checked the number of triangles in the larger circle on Hawk's map...there are 13...the horse is also Red on Hawk's map-and is having none of what the Black Lodge is selling...smart horse.

Bluebirds of happiness?  (OK, they look like swallows, but they're blue & they're birds & they feature in various myths!)

You're probably right, Lynn-the curious thing to me is that they are all flying towards an invisible object of some sort....?

I think it's important to remember that Hawk makes a point of explaining that some of the symbols are "types" of symbols.  So if the fire is just an archetype for electricity perhaps the birds are an archetype for something else.  Along with the red horse (Red?)

So, here are the screen captures I re-drew the map from-let me know if I missed anything.
