She was in the end credits. But where was she? Was she the woman with Steven Burnett?

I actually exclaimed, "Gersten, no!" when I saw her with Steven. The bigger question is: what happened to the other Hayward sisters?

"Donna's story is a mystery, man. If I told you you'd be history-man." - how Laura would've responded.

"Donna's not in this story." - David Lynch  ( probably also not Harriet )

Donna legally changed her name to Donna Horne and received a large cash settlement from her birth father, Ben.  She used the funds to move to Paris, where she became an early employee of EuroDisney.  She married a man named Henri and continues to support him to this day as the shift manager of the Disneyland Paris tobacco shop.

Harriet moved east to closer to her parents who have retired there.  She teaches poetry and creative writing at the Middleburry Community College and on Thursday evenings, she and her partner, Ellen Sue, run the Middleburry Erotica Symposium - to which even old Doc Hayward has submitted the occasional dirty limerick.

Gersten's story is, of course, a tragic one.  The night she was to play the fairy princess in the school play was the same night as the Miss Twin Peaks pageant.  None of her family went to the play.  Later, Doc Hayward was overheard telling Harry Truman over coffee at the Double R: "To be honest, Harry, I forget I even had another daughter."  She dropped out of school and took a job at the Lydecker Vet Clinic, where she got hooked on horse tranquilizers, leading her to where we see her now.

Someone in a spanish group (join us if you speak spanish!) has just noticed that the clothes of Gersten Hayward and the girl who Cooper kills in the second part are the same (including the necklace). Is it just a joke, an easter egg or maybe are we talking about another prostitution net like we saw in the original tv show?

My first guess is that Gersten has ulterior motives against Steven/Becky, like Darya did against Mr. C, maybe working with someone behind Steven's back to get at Steven/Becky..........maybe even working with the person Becky was with to anger Steven in the trailer
