When was this sign first shown? Was it FWWM?

I could have sworn it was prior to The Return. But I'm doubting myself.

I *think* it's always been there.  Without going back to the original shows to look I can't be sure but that's the way I always think of it.

The Bang Bang Bar is the Roadhouse, so yes, proper part of the old-skool scenery!

(and yes, flip, I just said (wrote) 'old-skool' :/ )

It's a great bit of realism. Doesn't every community have a place that everybody calls one thing even though it's formally named something else? In the town where I work there's a bar called "The London Underground" but my colleagues and I call it "The Pub."

It's in the pilot, but the site isn't letting me attach a picture (guess it's a new problem?).  The Roadhouse had the same (or similar) sign back then.

Here's a sample pic from the pilot at http://twinpeaks.wikia.com/wiki/The_Roadhouse with a listing of episodes in which the Roadhouse appeared.

Lol - my partner & I moved to Dundee in 2005.  I'd previously lived here in the 80s when I was at university & have a tendency to describe places by what they were back then.  He can now identify lots of sites where pubs used to be...!  🙂

It seems Mr. C. has been messing with the forum, and Pieter has been having a yrev hard time fixing it.

The Pub, the Boozer, Ale House...

My old local was called the Rose and Crown (wow, original) but known locally as the Top House because, it was the highest up building in the old village.  The one down the road is The Wadsley Jack, but known to most as the Star, since that was its name before some fool decided to rename it.

The last time I had a local - I haven't been in the nearest pub here* - it was just known by its name, The Holly Bush.

*Two small children tend to put a crimp in pub visiting.  I'm sure we'll find a way to fall through the doorway this summer, though.  They have a big playground, so the nippers can do the swings and stuff while Daddy gets himself round the outside of a pint.
