One thing, I noticed, which may be what a previous poster above was alluding to was there seemed to be an alarm go off and another voice take over from Hello Johnny, how are you today?

Does anyone know what's said here?

This voice appears as Richard is dumping the valuables out onto the table, a red light flashes in the bottom left of the screen, then various red dots of light flash in different spots quickly all over the table, as if it is Richards wild covetous gaze jumping all over the place. Right around this time, voice starts in a really low pitch as if it is slowed down, and sounds as if its saying something.  I dont know what it says, someone probably would have to get a sound file of it.  Also, Im not sure it 'takes over for the robot teddy bear', I took it as complementary, something like a dialogue, maybe an answer to that robot teddy bear's question that is formulated as the events unfold.....

Watch that scene again and try not to hear Chewbacca. It's impossible. F.A.C.T.

Doesn't work for me.  I can proudly state I haven't ever seen an entire episode of the Star Wars franchise.  Parts of, yes.  That was enough for me, thanks.

I'll never get people "proud" to never see star wars.

As bad as those who need to tell you "I've never seen one episode of got" for no reason at all.

Didn't see any credits for the bear voice, either on the show or IMDB. Anyone else think it sounds like Rhys Darby?

I've watched that bit a couple of times & all I got was the intercom at the start saying 'Mrs Horne, your grandson Richard is on his way'      {does that imply she has another grandson?}
Then when Richard picks up the stack of cash it sounds like there might be something-almost like very low pitched heavy breathing...  but that's all I can make out.

Well, seeing as you seem to have a bug up yer butt about it, I'll tell you why.  It's really simple...

Star Wars was everywhere in the late 70s, and being the oldest of a large family, my younger siblings were absolutely stark raving crazy about it.  It was almost impossible to avoid.  Somehow, I managed it, which is something of an achievement.  Achievements are generally regarded as something to be proud of.  And, having seen bits and pieces of it over the years, I believe I made the right decision.  It's pants, utter pants.

As for "No reason at all", well in this case, there was a reason, since a character from Star Wars was being discussed.

See?  Really easy to understand when you remove the bug from yer butt.

Edited to add:

I don't even know what "Got" is, so I could hardly be proud of avoiding it.

GOT is Game of Thrones.

Which I actually quite like. It's basically Dune but not set in the future (houses battling against each other)

My man! This is the first time that we disagree. Star Wars has merit, such as mahoosive critical mass suggests. If you'd seen fragments of TP, then you'd surely think of that as rubbish (or garbage for our US kin). To appreciate, or condone a 'thing', we need to absorb it in its entirety, or closely enough.

Ah, Game of Thrones.  Mrs Therapy watches it.  Doesn't interest me; I don't dig fantasy, with one or two exceptions, Amber (starts well, loses direction) and Discworld.

SW, well I think I've read enough and seen enough to make a judgement.  I tried - really tried - to watch the first movie and gave up after an hour.  Tried the second one, lasted maybe half an hour.  I've also watched various "Making of", behind the scenes, clips and whatnot, read interviews, features, even some of the comic books.

I used to work in computer and video games, and as you can imagine, a lot of the people there are hugely into SW, so I got a lot via osmosis.  Still, try as I might, never seen the attraction.

Don't much care for Trek, either.  Not a big fan of franchised SF.  Love SF as a genre but with a few exceptions I don't think it's been treated well in movies or on tv.  I'd love to see some of Iain M Banks' Culture stories translated to screen, provided they don't fart around with them.  One I'm looking forward to and simultaneously dreading is Altered Carbon.  The books are very good but I just bet the tv version is a pale echo.

Mr Therapy,

Just watch this four minute video, and there's no need to watch anything else

Honestly, I'd rather gouge out my eyes with a rusty fork.
