I have wondered why the Wikipedia page originally suggested, in a fn, that Sherilyn Fenn might be playing a different character. Most of the other female characters, like Shelly, Norma, Nadine, loglady, seem the same as they were 25 years ago. We can't help but get the feeling that Audrey is very different, and not in a happy way. I wonder if Ben and Sylvia actually raised Richard.
I cannot believe that Audrey could raise such a monster, well she couldnt do anything if Richard was born like that, which probably is the case if we assume he is the son of Evil Coop. I really dont want to believe that but i think we are going in this way. Also i'm curious to know how is Audrey, her psychology and how she handled Richard.
We can assume that Audrey, having such a son, is not going to be anywhere near to the dreamy character she was.

Maybe Audrey didn't raise Richard because she's dead. That's why we haven't seen her. Maybe when we see her she'll be in the Black Lodge or been transformed into a spirit of some sort.
I think it was confirmed that Audrey survived after the end of season 2, she was in a coma and later left TP. The answer of who the father of Richard is, will give many explenations about his character. Why he acts like that, is he just a bad person who wasn't raised in a correct way? is he born like that with this evil inside of him? did he become like that beacause Audrey left him for any kind of reason? and a lot of other questions...
