Hi all,

Not sure if I'm alone here but I have a very strong feeling that the sounds we are hearing (listen to the sounds) from the gramophone are noise we get from a loose or rattling ceiling fan. Of course with some editing. I think the rattle from the motor is isolated and slowed down.

And we all know the connection between Laura and ceiling fans.

Have a listen, would love some input on this!

I wonder what dialling 119 would sound like?

Probably use a drug-addled filter. Unpleasant to say the least.

I agree that it's a rotary phone.  Based on the duration of each component, I think it's dialing 430.
