Is Bad Cooper possessed by BOB or not?

In the last episode of season 2 we saw that doppel-dale was possessed by BOB. My question is: is he still possessed? I was thinking "no", until I stopped to think about the murder of Ruth Davenport. The main suspect is William Hasting because they found his fingerprints all over her apartment, but then we find out that his wife was involved and she had an affair with his lawyer, George. Then when she comes home, she finds Cooper and she knows him. She asks "what are you doing here?" then he says she "followed human nature perfectly" and kills her with george's gun, according to him. That implies that she had plotted against her husband, right? And William says he didn't kill Ruth, that he "dreamt about it". Could it be that bad Dale is, therefore, still possessed by BOB and  that he possessed William like he did with Leland in the past, making him kill Ruth and etc? Bad Dale would have to be still possessed by BOB in order to do that, right?

Plus, does anyone know what does this mean??? It's like a ghost or something that appears in that scene where William is in jail.

BOB is still in control of Cooper's original body, yes. As for that thing...No idea.

I think Bob and doppelganger are separate entities with Bob being in charge. DoppelDale's still flesh and blood human being with evil soul and Bob could control his soul, not his actions because what's his doing and was doing over the years was always related to the person Dale Cooper is. That' s why he will probably have an official explanation for his whereabouts, he's still somehow connected to FBI, also it seems that, opposite to Leland, he doesn't kill for his lust or other instincts, but for his life related purpose.

As for Bob, I think he may be related to Bill Hastings or more his wife Phylis. We definetely see "something" coming out of her, Cooper 'words about following human nature seem weird and I also noticed her reaction. When she saw Coop she seemed surprised and excited? That was the way she let Bob inside? By being seduced by Coop?

Also, if she's indeed host for Bob, it looks familiar to Leland ' s situation when it was like "come and go" possession - Bob wasn't in charge all the time but constantly throughtout the years.

I don't think that we "definitely saw something coming out of Phillys". I'd say that was a shaking effect added so that the gunfire and subsequent blood spatter would make sense, because the actress just falls on the ground, she doesn't "react" to the bullet. Watching that sequence frame by frame, the only visible things are her image, shaking, and the cgi blood coming out of her head. Also, it'd make sense that Mr. C is killing an accomplice - one who is like to be inquired for the Hasting's situation - while it would be a bit harder to imagine why he'd be killing BOB('s host). My money, on this, would be on William - as an host for BOB - rather than his wife.

As for the ghost/homeless looking dude in prison, it reminds me too way to much of the weird hobo in "Mulholland Drive" not to see a connection there. I know they aren't exactly the same, but the look is too similar, for me, too ignore.

Personally I don't think we have seen Bob in any shape or form yet. I think this because Bob was always far more carnal and brutal than evil coop has shown himself to be.

If you remember - Leland wasn't permanently possessed by Bob. Bob used Leland as a conduit.

I suspect the same will hold true for the real Coop. Bob can use him as a conduit. And we know there are drugs that can be taken (in the case of Philip Gerard) to prevent the possession from taking place. So, when real Coop finds his feet, perhaps we will see glimmers of Bob.

Episode 5 explained their connection. But I don't want to spoil it if you haven't watched yet...enjoy!
