Perception A: Lennon was the artistic genius; McCartney was the shallow pop star. "I hate Paul."
Perception B: Lennon/McCartney was greater than the sum of the individual parts and their best work was done together.
Perception A: Lynch is the artistic genius; Frost is the shallow TV-guy/writer. "Lynch is TP. Frost's TSHOTP is not canon"
Perception B: The best of Twin Peaks has always included involvement of both Lynch and Frost.
McCartney was the most accomplished musician in the band. Despite his "Grandma Music" fixation he wrote some of the best songs ever recorded.
Lennon was a superb songwriter - when he could be bothered - and a first class frontman in his own right.
Together they were dynamite.

I just found this part of the forum by following he Lennon/McCartney heading. I immediately knew it was an analogy to Lynch & Frost. Lennon & McCartney were absolutely genius together. I'm sorry they were not able to restore their friendship and reestablish that creative spark before John was killed.
Lynch + Frost - Yes.
