Meet Megan and Jason Mullins.

On September 29, 2013, Megan and Jason had a Twin Peaks themed wedding with the help of wedding planner Celia Rose. Celia sent us the photos courtesy of Faith Lucille Photography and it seemed like a damn fine wedding indeed!

It all starts with the perfect underwear…

…and the right location: The Presidio’s Log Cabin in San Francisco, CA.

The beautiful venue offered the feel of the Great Northern Hotel, a San Francisco City View and a cozy intimate setting for both our ceremony and reception.

Prior to the start of the ceremony, guests were asked to help themselves to donuts and coffee. The coffee cups were also part of the guests’ favors and had been hand decorated to feature the Double RR Diner logo, the couple’s names, date of the wedding and the Owl Cave Symbol.

During the Twin Peaks themed wedding ceremony, there were plenty of references to the show. Here’s an excellent example:

Now, Jason, I must remind you of what Deputy Hawk shared with us once,

“One woman can make you fly like an eagle, another can give you the strength of a lion, but only one in the cycle of life can fill your heart with wonder and the wisdom that you have known a singular joy.”
So, basically, don’t screw this up.

I am now proud to say,

“I have no idea where this will lead us. But I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange.” (Dale Cooper)
You are now husband and wife!

After the ceremony, guests were encouraged to snap a pic in front of two photo opportunity scenes! The Black Lodge backdrop featured a cardboard cutout of the Venus de Milo statue and a chalkboard backdrop was decorated to look similar to the Miss Twin Peaks competition.
