David Lynch and Donna Karan tonight will celebrate the New York City launch of “Operation Warrior Welness-NYC,” an effort to create change from within for veterans and their families who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Attending the event in New York would’ve set you back at least US $85, but the good people at Urban Zen will be livestreaming everything online from 7:30pm EST.
Just so you know, David Lynch’s art will not be the topic of discussion here. Instead, the filmmaker is joined by Dr. Norman Rosenthal, author of Transcendence: Healing and Transformation through Transcendental Meditation, to explain how Transcendental Meditation aids in healing the mind and body.
