This thread is awesome, and it really makes me want to sit down and turn all of this into properly structured metadata lol (it's the field I work in professionally). The FOAF Project might be a good way to formally define the relationships among characters, places, and events in all this. Or, could just use simple Dublin Core and RDF probably. Or if I REALLY wanted to tie together my Twin Peaks fandom with this sorta thing, I could write my own RDF metadata schema.

And properly structured metadata like that could be used for all sorts of visualizations. 😛

In terms of the flow chart, Megan also indicates that Tina was sleeping with Billy. Charlie says Tina won't be able to talk if her husband is home, so the husband would be another ????

If Chuck is the uncle, and was there, that would explain how he could tell Audrey that Tina was the last person to see Billy. But then why pass it off to her if he was there? Megan is not sure if the uncle was there, but being Tina's brother could still explain how Chuck knew about this.

We also might hypothesize that Chuck is Renee's husband Chuck, and then think about James' fascination with Renee (along with the fact that she cries during his performance at the Roadhouse - so what is the connection here?). One of Chuck's friends could perhaps be Tina's husband, or the uncle (another way Chuck could have learned that Tina was the last to see Billy)

Audrey threatens to call Paul when she is arguing with Charlie, and I have no idea what to do with that.

These are all amazing points I've not spotted.

Definitely need to add Paul.

Please please please do put this into a properly structured document!

I'm crap at flow charts and logic system diagram thingies!

:O I honestly didn't expect such a rousing response to my library and info science nerding out post haha. I'll hopefully get a chance to whip something up within the week! Does anyone else in here have text documents saved that record the relationships already established in this thread, and if so, is there a way to share those on here? I've not been on the site long. Cause getting that text info would save me time. ^_^

I can grant you access to two (bad) coggle graphs I put together with text on if that helps? I'd need yer email address.

The twin peaks Wikipedia article on Billy, Tina, Chuck etc are all good resources I've found.

It would be great if you could put something together!

I keep sitting down pen and paper trying to map something out but I never get far. I keep hitting a wall because I either just don't have the information, the insight, or there are too many puzzle pieces missing from the box.

You need more coloured pens.  Lots and lots of them.  Staedtler do a set of 40 fine point markers.  That should be enough for starters.  You could go the whole hog and get a set of Pantone markers, though; there's around 200 different shades there.

I was thinking the big box of crayola crayons but I suppose the pens might work too.  🙂

Good suggestion on a place to c/p info. 🙂 Can you share the coggle graphs to my gmail, which is thom.[my last name]. Hopefully that weird formatting of my email makes sense, but I'm trying to post it as something that hopefully that blasted spam bot can't read if it gets in here again.

I just want to throw out there that "Chuck" and "Charlie" are both nicknames for the name "Charles". More twinning? Or perhaps Charlie and Chuck are the same person?

I don't think they can be the same person, since Audrey and Charlie have a conversation about Chuck

And didn't we see Chuck at the Roadhouse getting beat on by Freddie?
