My second watch of episode 5 mirrored my first, one of great sadness for Good Coop's plight, trapped and totally lost as Dougie musing over the statue especially at the end, greatly augmented by Johnny Jewel's Windswept, a perfect match.

All the Dougie - Coop plot is absolutely hilarious! Funny and incredibly sad at the same time. Coop is acting like a world biggest toddler ( chasing after coffee without any respect to the drink' s owner, the way he's holding the cup end enjoying it, etc) and NOBODY CARES! Wife, colleagues... This is a great satyre of our society, in my opinion. Everybody 's acting correct, nobody ' s mocking him, they're ready to help but only if it's not interfering with their plans  (elevator scene after workday) but nobody actually dare to ask what happened and that maybe he needs medical attention. So at the end of the day Dougie/Coop is left litterally on his own, just cherishing the statue of the man he used to be, looking at the shoes like they're the ones that missing cause now he is " walking in somebody else ' s shoes", his own left somewhere in the other world with his own self...

Really really sad. ..

At work, he comes a alive a little bit when he hears the words agent case files.
Perhaps the statue will trigger him, that he has used a gun in his past, and perhaps memory of Harry. Though he also might remember he had a different pair of shoes before.

It's quite a story arc, it'll be a landmark moment when DC finally remembers who he is-the Great Northern key being mailed would seem to quicken the time when the agency starts  looking for Coop in Las Vegas-the casino surveillance footage should come in handy...though the FBI may find him before he's all the way "back"....more hilarity ensues : )

I don't know... At the end of the other episode, when he rediscovered coffee, I really thought that was it and he'd  be back full on. But now he seems to be such a long way away... I just hope he recovers at all.

"it'll be a landmark moment when DC finally remembers who he is"

Without a doubt, one just hopes it happens in this series and not some movie in the future like FWWM2.  I'm already starting to lose interest.
