Use this topic to discuss the consequences of the Part 18.  Has David left us with a new mystery to solve?

I do like your idea of this new question to answer.  Must admit though, I am trying to reconcile the pre launch publicity posters in Australia, where they had specifically mentioned "Laura Palmer Missing for 25 years" in the material. Is it a clue? Was it in front of us all along? So many questions!

I think it is good thread name to discuss this. I don't know if it was somewhere. I spent some time to read about Laura Orb and Sarah, Frog Moth and stuff, but I couldn't find something like this:

Laura Orb is sent in 1945 as Fireman reaction to nuclear test. Many years later Sarah Palmer born her, so how could be ? Was there any theory that said Laura Orb is a soul placed in Sarah Palmer child or I am first one ? If it would be like that. Other things from old series fit well. Mike was killing with Bob, we know from Leland Bob was in Robertson before he enter Leland, but when Mike stopped killing with him ? Leland was later in relationship to Sarah. So Mike could met her and that is how he saw a face of god. Because if Laura Orb is in Sarah, she could simple open head and show him pure light as Laura did to Coop in season 3. We don't know nothing about other victims of Leland. So at this point plan can work well, Bob/Leland is focused on mission to possess Laura. He don't kill anymore, Bob focus on Laura, he want possess her. EP8 show us things that would be but are not. Laura was sent to do something with Bob, but in season 3 she do nothing about it. We have Freddie to deal with him, not Laura. So no point to show EP8 as Fireman pause on Bob and sent Laura. It better fit to something that was already shown in old TP. Ok we can ask how Leland married Sarah, why Sarah ? Because Fireman see future. So he can simple see that Leland possessed by Bob will be with married to Sarah. That why he place Laura soul in her to be born in future as being to fight Bob.

I start to think about it, because I think in Sarah Palmer we see Laura doppelganger. It is not only about smile, it is this black finger. Dale Cooper said to her "don't take the ring". If we still belive Dale Cooper is good, he had his purpose to say that. She put ring on, and now in Black Lodge evil Laura appeared. Good one is shown with angels. But still there is evil one. In season 3 we don't see evil Laura in Black Lodge...because she live now in Sarah.

And now, the reason she hit Laura picture with glass is simple. Evil Laura is opposite to good one. Same as our good Coop and bad Coop. Dale rescue good Laura and bad one in Sarah go mad.

Now I can even agree that she is JUDY. Extreme negative force. Why ? Because if Fireman created something pure good...so how can we name being opposite to it ?

Laura doppelgänger inside Sarah Palmer.

Now this is really something interesting to think about.

I feel that Laura Palmer, and the whole town of Twin Peaks, and people like Gordon Cole, are the creation of Carrie Page (or Carrie Page the creation of Laura Palmer).
