Ratbag is a favourite at home. Once, when we were out with the children, young Master Therapy proudly announced to everyone in earshot, "We're a pair of little Ratbags".
Plum and lemon are used a lot as general terms of derision. "Daddy, you plum" is often heard at Chez Therapy. Fiddlesticks! and For Five Minutes! are pretty good for letting off steam.
BTW, Berk, is a shortened rhyming slang - remember that discussion? - for Berkshire Hunt. I'm sure you can work out that one. An example of mutated rhyming slang is Aris, short for Aristotle, rhyming slang for bottle, shortened from Bottle and Glass (pronounced in the London way "Glarse"), rhyming slang for arse.
According to my dictionary, rhyming slang was also used in Australia and New Zealand but is now obsolete. Dunno if that's true but the few Aussies I've spoken to have never heard of it.

I doubt it, based on my limited knowledge of Ebonics. Rhyming slang has been around here for so long it's largely seen as being part of the language, regardless of class, ethnicity or location. Used more widely in certain parts of the country but understood all over, at least by people who speak English as a first language, and many others who have lived here long enough to use slang.

Some posters are so enamored with their theories they've accepted it as fact. Instead of being open minded, they've become afflicted with confirmation bias.

And I am angry that I was made to care about so many new characters that never amounted to anything more than the discharge from that sick girls mouth. I do. I believe they were there to provide a backdrop and a reminder that life goes on and often doesn't make sense to an outside observer. Fits in with my idea regarding the whole of the show and, in the absence of a better idea - not saying there aren't any, just haven't seen one yet - I'll stick with it for now.
Regarding the seemingly unconnected characters - I think there's a mystery to be uncovered. Hence why we had The Congressman's Dilemma i.e., here are the clues, go ahead and find out what they mean.
I'm shit at that sort of thing though, so I'll leave that to greater minds 🙂
