The Audio on Jefferies doesn't sound right.

Anyone able to compare it yet.

No.  I'm watching the original scene now.  They are the same.

I just rewatched that scene from FWWM a few days ago, and yeah, it's the same as what we saw tonight (thought they changed the hue).

The line itself is different.

In the original, Jeffries says "Who do you think THIS is there?"

In this one, "Who do you think THAT'S there?"

Or I'm tripping.

Just watched both and you are right.  So, we were able to see previously unseen footage of Bowie!  He was delivering a very similar line, but it is a different take.

Yep, not the same take.
Original FWWM at the 2 minute mark:

I take it you mean it doesn't sound like Bowie?  I thought that too .... if so maybe because we'll only ever hear Jeffries voice and never see him in new scenes?

Yes, it's different from FWWM: actually, for this episode, Lynch used a cut that you can watch in the "missing pieces".

The audio is done by a different actor, he was credited only as "voice" and later confirmed on Instagram that he was Jeffries. He posted:

I have been hiding something for almost a year now, and as of last night I can now say it. One of the most surreal moments of my life happened when I was hired to voice the late and legendary David Bowie's character Philip Jeffries on the new season of @twinpeaks . I worked personally with David Lynch and thought I must have been dreaming. A year later I'm still in shock, but I'm thrilled to have been even a small part of this amazing phenom of television and will never forget it.

As for the video, it was a different take than the one used in FWWM, but it was not unseen as it was the take used in the missing pieces.

Thanks for the video clip. I definitely think I need to go see those Missing Pieces before any more speculating!
